Khoa Nguyen
Chief Executive Officer | Co-Founder

Khoa Nguyen is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of VertoAI, currently completing his MD at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a concentration in Health Systems and Community Leadership, alongside an MBA at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. With a background in business operations from his family’s accounting practice, he has led various initiatives, including serving as a Student Director for DAWN Health, a student-run free clinic, and competing nationally in the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Business Ethics Case Competition. His research spans plastic surgery, neurosurgery, health equity, and AI applications in healthcare, providing insights into emerging technologies and their practical applications in medicine. As CEO, Khoa leverages his expertise in medicine and business to drive VertoAI’s innovation, ensuring its solutions are ethical, sustainable, and strategically aligned with the evolving healthcare landscape, the company’s consumers, and supportive investors.

Kaitlyn Dickinson
Chief Medical Officer | Co-Founder

Kaitlyn Dickinson serves as the Chief Medical officer and Co-Founder of VertoAI. She obtained her master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and is now completing her MD at University of Colorado School of Medicine. She will be specializing in General Surgery. Her focus on medical school was in community health and healthcare inequities in which she worked primarily with Spanish-speaking patients at Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers (FQHC). Her research spans vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, trauma surgery, surgical oncology and healthcare inequities. She received the 2024 University of Colorado Injury and Violence Prevention Center (IVPC) Student Research Grant as a student for her focused projects in mortality rates of motor vehicle accidents within vulnerable communities. As Chief Medical Officer, she utilizes her background and passion to help the team navigate the research and translatability landscape required for the successful implementation of the products developed.

Robert Fuller
Chief Legal Officer

Robert Fuller serves as the Chief Legal Officer of VertoAI. He is currently completing his MD at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and plans on pursuing a residency in anesthesiology with a focus on critical care medicine. After college, Robert received his JD at Mercer University School of Law. After law school, Robert briefly worked for a civil litigation law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, where he represented insurers, companies, and local governments in all types of civil litigation in state and federal courts. During his time in private practice, Robert served as a Judge Advocate for the U.S. Army Reserves where he advised military commanders on all aspects of military and government law. Subsequently, Robert left private practice to serve on active duty with the U.S. Air Force. Robert completed multiple assignments, both stateside and overseas, where he advised commanders on all aspects of military law. His roles included serving as Chief of Civil Law for two military commands, where he was responsible for legal operations including overseeing multi-million dollar federal contracts and acquisitions, labor and employment law dispute resolution, joint military operations, international law interpretation and negotiation, and fiscal law compliance. Robert also served as trial counsel prosecuting felony level offenses in the military legal system. Robert’s comprehensive expertise in the practice of law positions him to handle legal challenges and barriers to startup operations and product success.

Alexander Ho
Chief Technological Officer

Alexander Ho serves as the Chief Technological Officer of VertoAI. He graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, and earned his MD at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, pursuing residency specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Throughout his medical school education, Alexander has focused on clinical biomechanical research and bioinformatics. With his experience in engineering project management, problem-solving, agile methodologies, and FDA pathways, he strives for rapid development and continual improvement of systems. By utilizing technical expertise, strategy, & adaptability, Alexander ensures that VertoAI creates technological solutions that meet and exceed user expectations in an evolving healthcare landscape. Likewise, his intersection of medicine and bioengineering positions him to suitably ensure translatable application of products for healthcare industry usage.

Ryan Baten
Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer

Ryan Baten serves as the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer of VertoAI. With over 6 years of professional experience developing and implementing machine learning models for natural language and tabular data use cases, he uses his expertise to lead the development of the company's AI solutions. He also leverages strong cloud and DevOps skills to ensure the company builds a scalable, reliable, and secure AI platform. Ryan’s extensive expertise in artificial intelligence, technological development, and improving AI solutions positions him as the expert lead in development to produce technically operational products.

David Doan
Senior Product Engineer and Educational Manager

With a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, a minor in education, and over 6 years working in developing and delivering various products as well designing and leading fullstack web development programs, he uses his skills in development to lead the production of the company's products. He will also utilize his experience in developing meaningful courses to tailor an immersive internship program that will prioritize an in depth learning experience for developing professionals. David's experience in leading and development of technical courses will allow for the development of new progressivism to flourish. This alongside his depth of technical knowledge in different frontend and backend frameworks will ensure a successful consumers experience.

Darien Stinson
Senior Manager of Brand Strategy and Investor Relations

Darien Stinson serves as the Senior Manager of Brand Strategy and Investor Relations at VertoAI, where he leads branding efforts and cultivates strategic partnerships to support the company’s growth in the healthcare AI sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Business, both from the University of Colorado Denver. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Darien served for five years, including a tour in the Pacific Theater, gaining global perspective and operational leadership experience. He also serves on the committee of a local venture fund affiliated with CU Denver, supporting early-stage startups and innovation. With a strong foundation in international markets and a commitment to healthcare equity, Darien brings a diverse and strategic approach to advancing VertoAI’s mission of transforming patient-provider communication.
